The Ancient City of Ephesus, House of the Virgin Mary, and St. John's Basilica
You meet with your guide at the port. Your guide wait for you with a sign which has your name on it. After welcomed your guide take you to the Selcuk town where you visit all historical sites. Your first stop is House of Virgin Mary which is located on the Solmissos Mountain where it is believed Mary lived.
After House of Virgin Mary you will driven to downhill with a beautiful view and arrived Ephesus ancient city. You start a walking tour here which takes more than an hour. Your route takes you to see Bouleterion/Odeon, Agora, Roman Bath,Domitian Square, Hercules Gate, Temple of Hadrian, Library and finally Great Theater. When your tour finish in Ephesus you will driven to have lunch and get rest.
Next stop is Basilica of St. John the Apostle. Basilica is located near the Selcuk Castle. You visit the remaining of the Basilica with wonderful view of Selcuk Town.
We would like to introduce you to the local cultural aspects of Ephesus by showing handmade carpet & rug Art done through traditional weaving in the Teaching Village and you'll enjoy many of Ephesus Ceramics as well.

Additional Notes:
- To see the ruins in Ephesus requires walking one mile over uneven surfaces. Comfortable walking shoes highly suggested.
